Hi,
Had a great time in London to start of my mini European tour. Stayed in a hotel very close to the Chelsea ground. Struggled to find a gym with free weights. Most of the gyms I visited were all cardio equipment. I ended up training at a Lloyds gym. Not really impressed with it mostly cardio kit and machines for your yuppie types. To be honest I dont think they were to keen on me training there. They seemed as though I was a little to intimidating for their client’s.
I went off to the corner of the gym where the free weights were. Just me and a few guys who could do nothing but stop and stare as my poundage blew them away. I trained my back so Deadlifts were in my routine an excercise I like to lift heavy on. I warmed up on 60KG then 100kg I then put the weight up to 140kg and managed to get 6 Reps out I still felt strong so I pushed the weight up to 180kg and managed to get 2 big reps out. After this lift most of the guys had given up and headed for the shower knowing they had been beaten by a girl in the gym.
More tomorrow as I head off to Brussels in Belgium
